The engine runs in your browser, so analysis is fast and stays close to you. Alongside the workspace, chessdesk offers free public tools that anyone can use without an account: game review, an analysis board, and a best-move finder.

chessdesk is built for two kinds of people. The first is the chess coach who needs a calm, organized place to prepare lessons, annotate games, and keep each student's work in order. The second is the serious improver: the player who is past casual blitz and wants to study deliberately, understand their mistakes, and turn analysis into real progress. If you take your chess seriously, chessdesk is meant to fit the way you already work.

A lot of chess software asks you to assemble your own toolkit from a dozen tabs and accounts. chessdesk takes the opposite view: one precise workspace, with the free tools that let you start immediately and the saved studies that let you go deep.
