From outline to lesson
Put the generated structure into a durable Study
The generator plans the teaching sequence. You choose and verify the positions. Create one Study chapter per section, add the relevant variations and comments, then mark the finished Study as a reusable template if you want to assign copies to students.
FAQ
Chess lesson planning questions
Does the chess lesson generator use AI?
No. It combines your inputs with deterministic teaching templates. The same level, duration, theme and objective produce the same structure. You remain responsible for choosing the chess positions and checking the lines.
What does the generated chess lesson include?
The plan includes five timed sections, a Study chapter outline, position placeholders, coach prompts, student tasks and three homework ideas. The section timings always add up to the selected lesson duration.
Can I turn the result into a Chessdesk Study?
Yes. Copy or download the outline, create a Study, then add the positions, variations and comments. A coach can mark a finished Study as a reusable template and assign copies to students.
Does the generator create chess positions automatically?
No. It provides specific position and task placeholders, but it does not invent FENs or engine lines. Use positions from the student's games, your own material or a verified source.
Is the chess lesson plan generator free?
Yes. Generating, copying and downloading a plan requires no account. A free coach account lets you work with Studies and up to three students.
Keep the plan with the rest of your coaching work
