Questions, answered
What stays free?
Games, game review and puzzles are free for everyone, along with the full bot catalogue. Your first repertoire stays free to train, and the personal explorer covers your 100 latest imported games.
How does the free trial work?
Players can try Premium free for 7 days, once per account, on the yearly plan. You add a card when the trial starts; nothing is charged during the 7 days. On day 8 the card is charged $99 for a year of Premium, unless you cancel before the trial ends in Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. We send you a reminder 3 days before the charge. The monthly plan ($14.90) has no trial and is paid right away.
What happens to my work if I stop Premium?
Other saved repertoires remain readable and exportable after a subscription ends. Woodpecker progress stays saved, and a started cycle can be finished.
Do my students need Premium?
No. On paid coach plans, students with their own Premium subscription don't count toward your student cap, and paid coach plans include the Premium tools for your own practice.
Which currency do you charge in?
All prices are in US dollars. Premium is billed yearly ($99) or monthly ($14.90); coach plans are billed monthly and you can upgrade or downgrade whenever your roster changes.
